OAKLAND, Calif. – The Defense of the Golden State Warriors was overwhelming for the Knicks to say the least, as the Warriors get a convincing win 92-78. Monta Ellis scored 22 points, although he struggled going 4-15 from the field in the first half, adding to team leading 8 assists in the game.

Ellis scored 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter. ..........Story >>>

Fresh from probably one of the greatest win against the Orlando Magic, the Warriors enters tonight’s game with high hopes facing Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves. With that, Kevin Love looks to add onto his extraordinary NBA-record with 53 straight double-doubles. Talking about records, the Warriors connected a franchise record 21 three-pointers on Friday evening 3/11/11 vs. the Orlando Magic’s with Dorell Wright leading the team with eight three-point field goals.  Story >>>

Warriors Dig Deep for Nuggets

A beautiful night caped over the city of Oakland as the Golden State Warriors gets ready to face the Denver Nuggets.  The Hardwood Classic Night continued at the Oracle as Golden State Warriors Legend Rick Barry was honored for the jersey the Warriors won in the 1974-1975 season when the franchise won its third championship.

Crishelle De Leon sings a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangle Banner to kick off the game.  The Nuggets won the tip-off at controlled the ball for the first possession of the night.  Fortunately, no points came out of the possession as Monta Ellis took advantage as ran to the basket with a reverse lay-up from the baseline.  The Nuggets’ Kenyon Martin answered back with a simple lay in. The Warriors’ Head Coach Keith Smart called a very interesting timeout very early in the game as the Warriors clearly showed sloppiness on the offensive side of the ball. Story >>>
