When fight fans think about the Bay Area fight scene, the Big 3 immediately come to mind – Andre Ward, Robert Guerrero and Nonito Donaire.  However, there is a future star out there who is looking to break through into that elite group.  I am talking about Salinas’ Eloy Perez (21-0-2, 5 KOs) 

Eloy “Prince” Perez will be defending his NABO Junior Lightweight Championship belt and his undefeated record against Puerto Rico's Daniel Jimenez (20-3-1, 12 KOs) in "History In The Making" taking place on September 2, 2011 at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas, Calif.  For a little added excitement, this fight will be broadcast on TeleFutura's Solo Boxeo. 

Date & Time:  Friday, September 2, 2011.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the first fight begins at 7:00 p.m.  Since this fight card will be broadcast on TeleFutura’s Solo Boxeo, the broadcast will air well after the fights end, beginning at 11:30 p.m. and running until 1 a.m. 

Tickets:  Tickets are very reasonably priced at $35, $45, $65 and $125.   Be aware that this is a small event so it will be a little more difficult to actually buy the tickets.  They are currently on sale and available for purchase by at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office or by calling Garcia Boxing at (831) 261-0532.  Golden Boy Promotions is the promoter for this event.
